I was indoctrinated with books from a young age, rather, religious books. Particularly The Bible and The Sabbath School Quarterly. I hated it! Its worth mentioning my sister’s countless comics, novels and magazines, as well as my mother’s catalogues, which I all loved. But I believe the hated Holy books trained me!
‘Only now’, at 35, I’m reaping the benefits of that “indoctrination.”
