In “CzechoSlovakia”, the Christmas Eve is the all-important day, particularly dinner time. Initially, I was ‘very surprised’ that they don’t do the famous turkey, like TV had told me . Although varying ‘regionally’, generally its the ever-delicious potato salad and fish (no ‘meat’) for the mains. Its worth pointing out that, for some, the carp fish actually live in their home bathtubs prior to being transferred to the dinner tables.
