I live in England, London to be specific. Paradoxically, it is undeniably hard for me to fully concentrate on watching Algeria v Zimbabwe while Manchester United is up against Liverpool.
Probably, it would be fair for Issa Hayatou and company to find a way and finally bow down to the colonial masters (as usual) in order for this prestigious African football tournament to be legitimised, and more importantly, not conflict with the religious leagues, particularly the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga.
For the aforementioned leagues, epitomise development, in other words, success, to us Africans.
