Seepapitso Senior Secondary School

Here, the young Blessing, in the Seepapitso Senior Secondary School’s eventful Kitchen, selfishly serving himself some mouth-watering beef stew. This  was my favourite part of being a Prefect!

In late 1998, despite my reluctance, most of my 4D classmates, and class teacher Mma Banyaditse, appointed Dineo and me to be our class representatives. It was very weird to suddenly have to tell other students to tuck in their shirts; to not jump the famous fona queue; and to serve them, mainly apples, soup, bread, cabbage, rice. The very authoritative Rre Soli always served the tasty chicken, and the ever-delicious beef.

However, after a couple of weeks, I was comfortable with my newly sought power (real and imagined); particularly when the excited new Form 4 students arrived. Alec Seametso was one of them. He has always been very skilful with words.
