Harabese

My dear Rakgadi, Sylvia Kesegofetse Ramantele. The sister to my late father, at her brother’s home. She is standing on the right edge of the harabese house, in between, a bit further, is the Borakanelo General Dealer Store, and next is the polata, another 1 room building, which was mainly used as a store room, part bathroom. In front of the polata was the matlhakwana, or outdoor fire place, where we boiled bathing water, cooked dikgobe and baked diphaphatha bread.
