Dear US Embassy in Botswana

Discussions on racism are uncomfortable. History tells us that anti-racist activists are often gaslighted. While I would like to one day get a grant from the US Embassy for some projects, it’s critical that the US is interrogated on it’s racist structures that continue to affect us.

So the question is: what is the US Embassy doing to ensure that those of us who want to advocate for US antiracist policies and practices are not victimised and silenced by the very people who are for antiracism?
