Looking back with adult eyes, the year 2000 was the best. I was 18 going 19. Because my group did not go to Tirelo Sechaba and I was not accepted at UB for my choices, I only got my government scholarship late in the year to study in South Africa the following year. This means for the whole year I was just home. Apart from being forced, by my parents, to enroll in a driving school (I hated it!) and failing to get a driving licence, I mainly ate too much meat, watched too much football & TV, listened to too much hip hop and partied a lot with my friends.
