Growing up in Botswana, particularly in the mid 90s when some of us were still looking for role models on TV, especially the ones we could easily relate to, more importantly the ones who looked like us, we turned to the South African football team.
Indeed, the Bafana Bafana Class of 1996 have left a lifetime impact on us. Perhaps then we only thought of the effect in football terms, it was way beyond. Thank you Bafana Bafana.
