Praying for Botswana, for the world!

While there are ‘no known cases’ of coronavirus in Botswana, the government has timely taken drastic and neccessary measures to fight the spread of this pandemic. Schools, bars and liquor restaurants are closed, subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine, only citizens and residents are allowed to enter the country.

However, it is worth mentioning that there are 709 confirmed cases in neigbouring South Africa, our main import trading partner.


Working with the WHO and countries such as China, The Ministry of Health and Wellness, led by Dr Lemogang Kwape MP, an epidemiologist trained at The University of Aberdeen, continues to actively mobilise communities to help combat the coronavirus.
