In 2001 I left home at 19. For the following 6 years, I would visit home for probably a month or so before going back to South Africa.
Soon, (in March) I will reach 10 years of living in the UK. This means I have not “lived” at home since 2001.
Sometimes, I wonder what I did (or perhaps what I would do) to deserve this ‘unusual’ privilege.
I hope this boy will find the answers.
